Optus customer support eventually sorted it out and credited me $60 and fixed my bill so I will be paying what I should - no extra fees! All this after 6 months of wrong bills and several trips in store where I eventually had to leave to feed my daughter or was told my bills were in fact correct. Don't go to this store.

Absolute pathetic customer service. Dont honour there warranties. They lie an cant push you out there shop fast enough. 2 and a half months and my Samsung S Gear watch is still not fixed. My watch is 10 months old and in excellent condition however the glue holding the watch together is coming apart and making the internals vulnerable to the elements. Clearly faulty workmen ship. They charge adapter also would no longer connect. They sent the watch away twice. 1st time for over a month. They lost my watch in there shop only to find it 15 minutes later. The charge adapter was replaced but the watch not fixed. The manager was apologetic and called up the repair company. He wanted to put the watch in to go for a direct replacement to save time. Another 2 weeks later passed and no response. I contacted Optus Browns Plains and they said my watch was returned and I asked if it was replaced or fixed?. They said the repair people had wiped the software and re installed it and found no fault. This had nothing to do with my watches issue. And the watch was still not fixed and still falling apart. I was asked to wait again while they contacted the repair place. Another 2 weeks went by with no response and many phone calls from me later was told they will not fix my watch and the fact the glue is coming undone and watch falling apart is due to general wear and tear. They told me to pick my watch up, where very unhelpful and couldnt push me out the shop fast enough. I then contact Optus customer support and after 5 hours on the phone I spoke to 4 customer service reps, I was hung up on twice, put through to Samsung twice and spoke with the customer service manager. As far as it got was escalated to there professional team who would contact me in 5 to 10 working days to discuss this more. What is so hard? My watch is under warranty. According to the Optus and Samsung warranty there goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The watch clearly was not of good quality. So I dont see why they make it so difficult and stressful to have it repaired or replaced. Absolutely pathetic. Worse then Telstra. Never thought Id say that. Taking this to telecommunications ombudsman. Avoid!!!!!

Signed up for a home internet and phone plan. It has been nothing but trouble and hassle trying to get the bills sorted out. They were put in two separate accounts, then I had to pay extra before money would be refunded and the accounts merged, now I have been in about the wrong products on my bill several times (added handset fees) and have spent over an hour on the phone today trying to get it fixed up and it is still not resolved.
